  Salary: $160,000 - $175,000 / year

Pay Grade: 18 

Other Forms of Compensation:  Annual bonus potential; choice of company vehicle lease or monthly car allowance

Job Summary:

As the Vice President of Operations (VPO) supporting our client across twolocations in the Austin area, you will lead and inspire a direct team of 5 and indirect of 250, champion operational excellence, and build strong client relationships across a high impact account where we manage the following services: food/dining, micro-markets, coffee bar, office coffee, space management, janitorial, and employee services. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, people focused leader who thrives in dynamic environments. Relocation assistance will be considered.
This role is based on site in Austin.


Key Responsibilities:


• Leads, manages, and inspires a team of operations leaders in assigned accounts
• Drives self and team towards building strong relationships with clients at all levelsand achievement of key performance indicators
• Owns key regional decisions with team input, weighing risks and rewards along with short and long-term implications; strategically, thoughtfully, and persuasively communicates based on type of issue
• Sets tone for culture of organization in the region and regularly meets with extended team to ensure full transparency, education, safety, accountability, and alignment
• Serves as representative/brand ambassador of the Eurest and ESFM teams to most senior clients in the region, and acts as escalation point
• Partners with Retention teams to drive strategy for growth, structuring deals, presenting new business, building relationships with prospective clients, and negotiating key contract terms
• Collaborates with key partners on regional and/or nationwide initiatives
• Champions development within the accounts; conducts performance evaluations, along with succession planning; has full understanding of all roles within operation
• Owns financial results/P&L, and works with leadership team to ensure accuracy forreporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Ensures consistent and fair administration of all policies and procedures
• Recognizes and anticipates marketplace trends; participates in strategic planning meetings

 

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred 
• Twenty (20)+ years experience in workplace strategy, people management, facilities management or a related field. Leadership experience in facilities management with a focus in soft services is required; additional experience in food service/employee dining is a plus
• Experience managing annual budgets of at least $20 million
• Has a proven track record of growing a business and leading large cross-functional teams, along with excellent business and financial acumen
• Has ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately with proven experience managing large scale projects from end to end
• Shows expert client relationship, influencing, listening, and communications (written and verbal) skills
• Champions inclusion mindset, and is proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient
• Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multi-tasking, prioritization, and very strong communication and organization skills
• Must have excellent Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
• Must have very sharp attention to detail
• Able to travel as needed between Austin and Taylor
