What You’ll Do
The Alfred Firm is seeking to hire a Settlement Success Specialist with 2+ years of experience within a personal injury law firm. Due to our growing needs, we are looking to hire a Settlement Success Specialist to support clients during the settlement and case-resolution process. Ideal candidates would possess organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have effective communication skills.
We are looking for individuals who can work well independently but also in a team environment and with many different clients and staff members. Candidates that have experience with settlement disbursement in plaintiff’s personal injury are strongly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Settlement Lifecycle Management
Own the post-settlement process from resolution through final disbursement, ensuring all settlement milestones, documentation, and financial requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
Settlement & Financial Coordination
Prepare and review settlement documentation, assist with settlement statements, monitor incoming settlement funds, coordinate disbursements, and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial processing and compliance.
Client Experience & Communication
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the settlement phase, providing timely updates, setting clear expectations, obtaining required documentation and signatures, and delivering a high-touch client experience through case resolution.
Lien Resolution & Documentation Management
Coordinate the collection, review, and organization of lien information, medical balances, settlement documents, releases, and supporting records to facilitate timely case closure and disbursement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with attorneys, trial team, intake personnel, and accounting staff to ensure seamless communication, proactive issue resolution, and efficient movement of cases through the settlement process.
Case Management & Data Integrity
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely updates within firm systems, ensuring all settlement-related activities, documentation, and communications are properly tracked and documented.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a personal injury law firm, with a strong understanding of the settlement process, case lifecycle, medical records and billing, lien resolution, and post-settlement case management.
Experience handling settlement statements, disbursement coordination, financial reconciliations, payment tracking, accounting support, billing, accounts payable/receivable, or other financial administration functions within a legal or professional services environment.
Strong computer and technology skills with experience using CRM, case management, and accounting software. Experience with HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is highly preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients during the settlement and case-resolution process.
Benefits
Salary - $25.00 - $30.00/hr
