Salary: $92,300 - 166,850 per year Requirements:

• We need you to hold a bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• We require the ability to meet contract citizenship or work authorization requirements.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, or higher if needed.
• We are looking for at least 8 years of experience administering data center networks for storage area networks.
• You should have hands-on experience with Cisco MDS and Cisco Nexus platforms.
• You need a CCNA Data Center certification or an equivalent credential.
• Preferred qualifications include CCNP Data Center or a higher Cisco data center specialization.
• Experience in NetApp-centric enterprise storage environments is preferred.
• Experience supporting federal IT operations aligned with FISMA or NIST requirements is preferred.
• Experience with DR/COOP failover connectivity across primary and alternate data centers is preferred.
• ITIL 4 Foundation, or an equivalent background in incident, problem, and change management, is preferred.
• NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) is preferred.

• We administer daily SAN fabric operations using Cisco MDS and Cisco Nexus platforms.
• We configure, deploy, and maintain core SAN connectivity that supports enterprise storage services.
• We carry out approved moves, adds, and changes to SAN network components.
• We maintain SAN fabric standards, configurations, and baseline documentation across supported environments.
• We manage connectivity to the SAN for storage, virtualization, replication, and backup and recovery workflows.
• We monitor SAN health, performance, and availability to prevent degradation and outages.
• We perform capacity planning and performance tuning to sustain enterprise storage operations.
• We prepare operational reporting for connectivity, availability, and performance metrics.
• We troubleshoot SAN connectivity and performance problems to restore service quickly.
• We handle incident triage, escalation, and coordination with storage, server, and vendor support teams.
• We perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions for repeat SAN issues.
• We support surge needs and on-call activities during critical incidents and outages.
• We ensure SAN operations align with security, compliance, and operational standards.
• We support continuity and disaster recovery objectives through resilient SAN interconnectivity.
• We coordinate SAN-related work with enterprise infrastructure teams and the EOC.
• We maintain SOPs, topology diagrams, and implementation records for audits and operational readiness.

This is a telework role with travel as required by contract direction, and it may involve on-call or surge support depending on operational needs. Our current pay range for this role is $92,300 to $166,850.
