Senior Bookkeeper (US Experience)

LauLau is seeking an exceptionally reliable Premium Bookkeeper to manage financial portfolios for our US-based accounting firm clients. You will drive high-volume data workflows, perform meticulous monthly ledger reconciliations, and handle multi-entity account balancing in a high-performing remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily transaction categorization, ledger maintenance, and data entry across multiple accounts.
• Execute monthly bank, credit card, and merchant account reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
• Generate foundational monthly financial reports including Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and P&L statements.
• Assist with state-specific sales tax calculations and annual compliance filing procedures.
• Support client payroll workflows, weekly processing, and associated tax document verifications.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of overall US bookkeeping experience.
• At least 3 years of recent experience working directly inside a US CPA or accounting firm.
• Consistent employment longevity with a minimum of 2 years of tenure in each past role.
• Proven history of securing positive references from at least two former US employers.
• Excellent professional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Advanced, demonstrable mastery of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and complex spreadsheet management.
