The Security Director leads all security operations across a multi?asset private destination, including an ISPS?regulated port facility, accommodation campus, and community assets. As a member of the Destination Leadership Team, this role is responsible for protecting Guests, Team Members, assets, and operations through strong regulatory compliance, risk intelligence, emergency preparedness, and operational control aligned with corporate security standards and brand expectations.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Private Destinations, with dotted?line alignment to Global Security, the Security Director sets strategic direction for site security, ensures ISPS and Mexican regulatory compliance, and maintains audit and inspection readiness. The role serves as the primary liaison with maritime authorities, government agencies, and community stakeholders, ensuring coordinated response and operational continuity.
Through proactive risk management, intelligence?led decision?making, and strong leadership of internal teams and third?party vendors, the Security Director delivers 24/7 security coverage, oversees investigations, emergency response, and crisis management, and manages security budgets and contracts. This position plays a critical role in sustaining a safe, resilient, and service?driven environment that supports guest experience, operational excellence, and long?term destination sustainability.
