We are looking for a QA Functional Tester (UAT) to join our team, focusing on digital banking services and payment platforms. In this role, you will ensure that digital banking solutions fully align with business requirements, regulatory standards, and customer expectations before production release. You will work closely with Business, Product, and IT teams, contributing to high-quality, secure, and compliant digital services.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into structured UAT scenarios.
Design and execute comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile banking applications.
Perform end-to-end testing of customer journeys (e.g., account opening, transactions, payments, authentication flows).
Identify, log, track, and follow up defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or TestRail, coordinating resolution with development teams.
Conduct regression testing after fixes, enhancements, or system updates.
Validate compliance with banking regulatory requirements and internal security policies (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC, AML).
Support UAT sign-off processes and ensure readiness for production deployment.
Produce clear and structured UAT reports, including defect trends, findings, and improvement recommendations.
Minimum 2 years of experience in UAT or Functional Testing, ideally within banking or financial services environments.
Hands-on experience with online/mobile banking systems and payment platforms.
Strong knowledge of UAT methodologies and best practices, including web, mobile, and API testing.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
Good understanding of compliance and security standards in digital banking environments.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in structured delivery environments.
Are comfortable validating complex business flows in regulated environments.
Can clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Take ownership of UAT cycles and ensure structured defect follow-up.
Have experience with digital payments (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, real-time payments).
Are familiar with automation tools such as Selenium or Postman.
Have exposure to accessibility testing standards (e.g., WCAG).
