About the Role

ARKLOGIC is a software company building LINCGEO, an operational platform for land surveying firms. Originally developed as an internal tool, LINCGEO is evolving into a scalable, customer-facing product that supports complex, field-driven workflows using geospatial data and emerging AI capabilities.

We’re looking for a Product Owner based in ou r Warren, NJ or New York, NY office to drive LINCGEO’s continued development. This role is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering well-scoped product work grounded in real operational needs, ensuring the backlog is clear, actionable, and ready for execution.

The Product Owner works closely with Product Design, Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to align priorities and drive consistent delivery. This is an execution-focused role centered on backlog ownership, sprint readiness, and delivery outcomes, providing the structure and direction that guide delivery teams beyond day-to-day project coordination.

Compensation: $115,000-$135,000 annually for NJ candidates, $120,000-$145,000 annually for NY candidates


What You’ll Do

Own the Backlog
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on business and operational impact
  • Translate real ‑ world needs into well ‑ defined user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure work is clearly defined, scoped, and ready for development
  • Collaborate with leadership, Product Design, and Product Management to clarify requirements, business rules, and priorities
Lead Sprint Execution
  • Support sprint planning, sequencing, and prioritization
  • Focus teams on finishing high ‑ impact work over increasing work in progress
  • Help maintain delivery momentum
Drive Delivery & Outcomes
  • Break features into clear, actionable pieces ready for estimation
  • Lead estimation sessions with engineering, push for realism over optimism
  • Maintain alignment on scope, timelines, and delivery expectations as priorities evolve
Ensure Quality
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate completed work
  • Partner with QA and Engineering to ensure features meet requirements
  • Balance speed with reliability in a growing product environment

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Product Owner or similar role
  • Experience working in environments with evolving processes, with the ability to bring structure and clarity
  • Experience working within a product management function or product-led environment
  • Experience with SaaS or operational/workflow-based systems
  • Strong backlog management and user story writing skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with scheduling, project management, or field service tools
  • Experience with internal tools transitioning to external products
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
  • Understanding of system integrations and data workflows
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones (e.g., US and India teams)
