Hi hi! My name is Lexi, and I founded Ancient Society, a Greek Mythology Gossip Podcast, with my bestie Filip in London. Since then I have moved to NYC, and trying to work on this together with the time zones just turned quite difficult and draining, so I'm looking for a new co-host!
This is an unpaid position working with me to record and release a 20-40 minutes episode each week. I would love to find someone with a love of all things social to help promote, so I can focus on production and editing and for it.
The method of this podcast is we take turns retelling a mythological story to each other each week, filling it with gossip and pop culture moments. If you're wanting to listen to some eps to see if it's your vibe, I recommend our first episode "How Pettiness Started the Trojan War" (but ignore the sound quality, "Apollo & Hermes: Ancient Greece's Most Chaotic Duo," "Apollo Gets Blocked, Again," or "Camp Half-Blood Explained."
