Private Client in Upper West Side, NY Seeking Part or Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper

Position:   Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper
Schedule:   Approximately 30–40 hours/week (flexible but must be spread between 5-6 days/week; primarily afternoons and early evenings)
Salary:  $35/hour (DOE, may be flexible based on experience)
Start Date: August 15th

About the Family

A private family relocating from Israel to the Upper West Side of Manhattan is seeking a warm, reliable Nanny / Housekeeper to support their family long-term.

They have one young daughter (almost 2 years old) , who will be attending daycare during the day. The family is in New York for approximately two years and is looking for someone who can become a trusted, consistent presence in their home.

About the Role

This is a hybrid childcare and household support role with most hours in the afternoon and early evening (approximately 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM), with additional flexibility for full days when needed (holidays, daycare closures, etc.).

The family is somewhat flexible on exact schedule but needs the hours spread between 5 to 6 days a week.

Core Responsibilities

  • Afternoon and early evening childcare for a toddler
  • Light housekeeping and household organization
  • Laundry and changing bed linens
  • Basic meal preparation / cooking for the child and mom preferred
  • Supporting daily routines and household flow

Schedule

  • Primary hours: ~3:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Additional daytime hours available if desired while child is in daycare
  • Flexible 5–6 day schedule depending on candidate preference
  • Can offer up to ~40 hours/week if spread across 6 days
