A well-established legal practice is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage sophisticated family law matters while working in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law litigation, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to guide clients through challenging legal matters with professionalism and confidence.

The Senior Family Law Attorney will oversee a diverse caseload involving divorce, child custody, support matters, property division, and other family law issues. The attorney will be responsible for developing legal strategies, advising clients, preparing legal documents, conducting negotiations, and representing clients in court proceedings.

This position requires strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and the capability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.

• Manage family law cases through all phases of litigation and resolution.
• Provide legal guidance and strategic counsel to clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate on their behalf.
• Develop case strategies and evaluate risks and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with legal professionals and outside experts when necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Mentor and support junior legal team members as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the firm.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California and membership in good standing with the State Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of family law litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling divorce, custody, support, and related family law matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Proven ability to negotiate favorable resolutions for clients.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal team.
• Experience handling financially complex matters is a plus.

• Mediation and settlement negotiation experience.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Experience working with financial experts and other professional consultants.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
