AJAX Commercial Cleaning, Inc. is a growing company dedicated to providing high-quality cleaning and facility services to our clients. We are seeking dependable and motivated Assistant Supervisors to join our team and help ensure that our customers’ facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This role is ideal for individuals looking for steady work, including retirees or those seeking supplemental income. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting our Area Manager across Summit, Cuyahoga, and Portage counties, helping to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Manager in overseeing cleaning operations across assigned locations
• Cover shifts for team members who are absent due to call-offs, vacations, or open account hours
• Support the start-up of new client accounts and ensure smooth transitions
• Conduct building inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Monitor and assist with schedule changes as needed
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks, including:
  • Trash pick-up and removal
  • Sweeping, mopping, and floor care
  • Dusting and vacuuming
  • Bathroom and lobby area cleaning

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial services
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between job sites
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and some weekends

Compensation

Pay is based on experience . This is a 35-40 hour per week position with paid mileage.
